Munetaka Murakami 1+ Home Run (+250): Murakami has been “stuck” on 15 homers for a week, going 3-for-19 with six walks in his last six games. The public likes his chances of getting on track Saturday night in the Crosstown Classic. He’ll face Jameson Taillon, who has the highest HR/9 of any pitcher on the board this Saturday. Taillon has given up 11 homers in 45 2/3 innings this season, and lefties like Murakami have hit six of those homers with a .338 wOBA. Murakami has 11 of his 15 homers against righties like Taillon, setting him up in a strong spot Saturday night even if the wind is blowing in.
Aaron Judge 1+ Home Run (+256): Judge and the Yankees are taking on the Mets at Citi Field on Saturday night, where the weather forecast looks very homer-friendly. I highlighted the matchup for Judge in today’s MLB DFS stacks. Judge has 16 homers on the season with an impressive 23.4% barrel rate that ranks in the top five in the majors. He has a 59.4% hard-hit rate and .430 wOBA in his 14 games this month, including four with a home run. He has hit 11 of his homers against righties like opener Huascar Brazoban, and he also makes plenty of loud contact against lefties like bulk reliever David Peterson. Judge is almost matchup-proof and can go yard any time, which is why he’s always a popular option for home run props.
Yordan Alvarez 1+ Home Run (+272): Alvarez and the Astros are hosting the Rangers this weekend in a Texas-sized matchup during Rivalry Weekend. Alvarez has 14 homers on the season, with two in his last eight games and eight in his last 28. The big lefty is in a marquee matchup with Jacob deGrom, who is 3-2 in his eight games with a 2.62 ERA and 2.83 FIP. He has allowed six homers in those eight games, though, including five to lefties. Alvarez went 2-for-3 against deGrom with a home run in their past meetings. The public likes his chances at home at Daikin Park, where he has eight of his 14 dingers this season.
