Washington Nationals vs. Cincinnati Reds Probable Pitchers

  • Washington Nationals: Foster Griffin
  • Cincinnati Reds: Chase Burns
  • Time: 12:40 PM ET

Griffin is a regression candidate, posting a 2.12 ERA with an xERA of 4.10 and a 4.08 FIP. While his strikeout numbers are down, Burns has been excellent, with a 2.11 ERA and an xERA of 3.12.

Detroit Tigers vs. New York Mets Probable Pitchers

  • Detroit Tigers: Keider Montero
  • New York Mets: Nolan McLean
  • Time: 1:10 PM ET

Montero has allowed only two runs over his last two starts through 12.2 innings. McLean has been fantastic through eight starts, posting a 2.78 ERA with an xERA of 2.33 and a 2.39 FIP.

Miami Marlins vs. Minnesota Twins Probable Pitchers

  • Miami Marlins: Robby Snelling
  • Minnesota Twins: Connor Prielipp
  • Time: 1:40 PM ET

Snelling made his debut against the Nationals, giving up three runs on five hits with four walks and two strikeouts through five innings. Prielipp hasn’t allowed more than two runs in his first four starts against the Guardians, Blue Jays, Mariners and Mets.

San Diego Padres vs. Milwaukee Brewers Probable Pitchers

  • San Diego Padres: Griffin Canning
  • Milwaukee Brewers: Kyle Harrison
  • Time: 1:40 PM ET

Canning has made two starts with the Padres and has a 6.75 ERA with an xERA of 3.38 and an 11.5 K/9. Harrison hasn’t allowed more than two runs in any of his seven starts while producing a 10.9 K/9.

Seattle Mariners vs. Houston Astros Probable Pitchers

  • Seattle Mariners: Luis Castillo
  • Houston Astros: Mike Burrows
  • Time: 2:10 PM ET

Castillo is in danger of losing his spot in the rotation, as he’s been hit extremely hard lately. Over his last three starts, he’s allowed 15 runs on 18 hits, including four home runs through 15 innings. Burrows has been tormented by lefties thus far, allowing 21 of the 25 total runs he’s given up.

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Athletics Probable Pitchers

  • St. Louis Cardinals: Michael McGreevey
  • Athletics: Jacob Lopez
  • Time: 3:05 PM ET

McGreevey continues to be extremely lucky, as his 2.18 ERA is not close to his 5.07 xERA. Lopez has been extremely unlucky, however, with his 6.11 ERA accompanied by an xERA of 3.35.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Boston Red Sox Probable Pitchers

  • Philadelphia Phillies: Jesus Luzardo
  • Boston Red Sox: Ranger Suarez
  • Time: 6:45 PM ET

Luzardo turned in one of his worst starts of the season last time out, allowing six runs on six hits through three innings against the Rockies. Suarez is expected to make this start despite dealing with a hamstring injury that came up in his last start.

Chicago Cubs vs. Atlanta Braves Probable Pitchers

  • Chicago Cubs: Ben Brown
  • Atlanta Braves: Chris Sale
  • Time: 7:15 PM ET

Brown will make his second start after pitching out of the Cubs’ bullpen. In his first start, he pitched four shutout innings against the Rangers.

Kansas City Royals vs. Chicago White Sox Probable Pitchers

  • Kansas City Royals: Kris Bubic
  • Chicago White Sox: Anthony Kay
  • Time: 7:40 PM ET

Bubic has been struggling with his command, issuing at least three walks in six of his eight starts. Kay is a regression candidate, indicated by his 4.89 ERA with an xERA of 6.69 and a 5.80 FIP.

San Francisco Giants vs. Los Angeles Dodgers Probable Pitchers

  • San Francisco Giants: Landen Roupp
  • Los Angeles Dodgers: Emmet Sheehan
  • Time: 10:10 PM ET

Roupp has been great through eight starts, allowing no more than a run in five of his eight starts. Sheehan has logged at least seven strikeouts in three straight starts against the Braves, Cardinals and Cubs.
