The seventh-seeded Philadelphia 76ers erased a 3–1 series deficit in Saturday’s Game 7 win over the short-handed Boston Celtics. Their reward? A date with the third-seeded New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference semifinals of the 2026 NBA playoffs.

Game 1 tips off Monday night at Madison Square Garden.

Knicks vs. 76ers Opening Odds

The Knicks are -260 favorites to win the series on DraftKings Sportsbook, while the Sixers sit at +215 to reach the conference finals.

The Knicks, who finished the regular season at 53–29, breezed by the Hawks with a 51-point Game 6 drubbing in Atlanta. Their 83–36 lead at intermission was the largest halftime lead in NBA playoff history.

The 76ers reached the postseason with a play-in win over the Magic — then clawed out of a 3–1 deficit to beat the Celtics in seven games. Philadelphia held on for a 109–100 victory over a Jayson Tatum-less squad in the decisive matchup in Boston.

The teams split their regular-season matchups: The Knicks took both games in Philly, while the Sixers stole a pair of contests at MSG.

They last met in a playoff setting during the opening round of the 2023–24 postseason, with the Knicks winning in six games.
