Robertson has cleared this line in all five games of the series thus far, and I’d expect it to continue in a win-or-go-home situation. This postseason, he ranks fourth among all skaters in shots per 60, while averaging 7.6 shot attempts per game. The fact that Robertson has carried the Stars this entire series and scored a goal in each game makes me like this prop bet even more, because we know the offensive production and volume will be there. He has also cleared 4+ SOG in each of his last four appearances in Minnesota.
The 23-year-old has had a stellar postseason debut with a 2.05 GAA and .926 SV%, and he has cleared this line in all but one game thus far. Dallas looked really off in Game 5, finishing with just 22 shots on goal after combining for 81 in Games 3 and 4. These teams have gotten the puck on the net often in this series, and I’d expect some urgency from the Stars right out of the gate. During the regular season, Minnesota ranked inside the top-10 in shots allowed per game, as well.
LaCombe has been elite in the playmaking department this postseason, totaling seven assists across the first five games. He has notched a point in all but one game thus far, and Game 6 will be played in Anaheim, where he totaled two multi-point games in Games 3 and 4. The 25-year-old leads all defenseman in points this postseason, and the series has featured a combined 40 goals thus far, so scoring opportunities will continue to be there.
