Kicking off Saturday’s stacked boxing schedule on May 2 is a card in Tokyo, Japan, which is being headlined by Naoya Inoue vs. Junto Nakatani for the Undisputed Super Bantamweight Championship. But that isn’t all, as Takuma Inoue defends his WBC Bantamweight title against Kazuto Ioka in the co-main event of this card. Takuma is Naoya Inoue’s younger brother.

This is one of the biggest fights that can be made in boxing today. Both fighters have an undefeated record of 32-0 and are two of the best pound-for-pound boxers in the sport. Naoya Inoue and Junto Nakatani are Japan’s top two superstars, and having them face off at the iconic Tokyo Dome is fitting and the perfect venue for this showdown.

Nakatani is a former WBO Super Flyweight, IBF, and WBC Bantamweight Champion. But now, Nakatani moves up to 122 pounds to attempt to become a three-division champion. He has beaten undefeated fighters before, but Inoue is an entirely different challenge. Inoue has long been regarded as one of the world’s top three-pound-for-pound boxers. With a victory over Nakatani, Inoue could firmly put himself above the competition. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Inoue is a -400 favorite while Nkatani is the underdog at +300.

Takuma Inoue enters this bout with a 21-2 record and five wins by knockout, while Ioka is 32-4-1 with 17 knockouts. Ioka is coming off a fourth-round knockout over Maikel Ordosgoitti in December 2025. Takuma Inoue won the WBC Bantamweight title against Tenshin Nasukawa in his previous contest in November 2025. In the co-main event, Takuma Inoue is the favorite at -250 while Ioka is a +190 underdog.
