After starting today’s game in left field, Jasson Dominguez has been removed due to an injury suffered in the top of the fourth.
It’s a tough break for the former top prospect, as Dominguez had only been called up earlier in the week from Triple-A. In 10 plate appearances at the MLB level this season, the 23-year-old is 1-for-10 with a single and two strikeouts. For his career as a whole, Dominguez has 16 home runs and a 103 wRC+ over parts of four seasons with the Yankees.
