Rays at Guardians game delayed due to rain Wednesday 4/29/26

UPDATE: The weather has cleared up and the tarp has begun being moved for the Rays vs. Guardians matchup. First pitch is now scheduled for 2:30 p.m. ET.

The start of today’s Tampa Bay Rays vs. Cleveland Guardians matchup will be delayed due to inclement weather. First pitch was originally scheduled for 1:10 p.m. ET.

This marks the third and final matchup of this series matchup. Tampa Bay has won the opening two matchups of these series by scores of 3-2 and 1-0. The Rays are looking to extend a six-game winning streak when the game does begin.

Looking at the odds on DraftKings Sportsbook, the Rays hold +165 odds on the -1.5 run line, and the Guardians hold -118 odds of winning outright. The run total is set at 6.5.

Drew Rasmussen and Gavin Williams are the expected starters for today’s matchup.
