Tuesday’s slate features a full schedule of games, highlighted by Tanner Bibee building on a strong recent stretch, Chase Burns continuing to flash elite strikeout upside, and Shohei Ohtani taking the mound in Los Angeles as one of the most dominant arms early this season.

Tampa Bay Rays vs. Cleveland Guardians Probable Pitchers

  • Tampa Bay Rays: Nick Martinez
  • Cleveland Guardians: Tanner Bibee
  • Time: 6:10 PM ET

Martinez is due for some regression with his 2.10 ERA and a 4.64 xERA. Bibee has allowed only two runs over his last two starts, spanning 12 innings against the Orioles and Astros.

Houston Astros vs. Baltimore Orioles Probable Pitchers

  • Houston Astros: Kai-Wei Teng
  • Baltimore Orioles: Shane Baz
  • Time: 6:35 PM ET

Teng is starting tonight but will likely be used as an opener, as he’s yet to throw more than 2.2 innings in an outing this season. Baz has really struggled with lefties thus far, posting a .432 wOBA with a 4.19 FIP.

Colorado Rockies vs. Cincinnati Reds Probable Pitchers

  • Colorado Rockies: Tomoyuki Sugano
  • Cincinnati Reds: Chase Burns
  • Time: 6:40 PM ET

The regression for Sugano is coming soon, as his 3.42 ERA is nowhere close to his 6.04 xERA. Burns is coming off an eight-strikeout performance against the Rays through 5.2 innings.

San Francisco Giants vs. Philadelphia Phillies Probable Pitchers

  • San Francisco Giants: Tyler Mahle
  • Philadelphia Phillies: Jesus Luzardo
  • Time: 6:40 PM ET

Mahle has struck out over a batter per inning but also has a 5.26 ERA with a 5.69 xERA and a 5.78 FIP. Luzardo hasn’t been as bad as it seems, as his 6.91 ERA comes with a 4.05 xERA and a 3.24 FIP.

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Pittsburgh Pirates Probable Pitchers

  • St. Louis Cardinals: Kyle Leahy
  • Pittsburgh Pirates: Bubba Chandler
  • Time: 6:40 PM ET

Leahy has a 1.5 HR/9 through his first five starts, allowing four through 24 innings. Chandler has been struggling with walks, as he’s issued at least three in three of his five starts.

Boston Red Sox vs. Toronto Blue Jays Probable Pitchers

  • Boston Red Sox: Payton Tolle
  • Toronto Blue Jays: Trey Yesavage
  • Time: 7:07 PM ET

Tolle will make his second start of the season after going six innings against the Yankees, allowing just one run and striking out 11. Yesavage is being called up from the minors after making three rehab starts.

Washington Nationals vs. New York Mets Probable Pitchers

  • Washington Nationals: Zack Littell
  • New York Mets: Clay Holmes
  • Time: 7:10 PM ET

Littell has allowed eight home runs through 25 innings, giving him a 3.9 HR/9. Holmes hasn’t allowed more than two runs in his five starts but owns a 4.21 xERA.

Detroit Tigers vs. Atlanta Braves Probable Pitchers

  • Detroit Tigers: Casey Mize
  • Atlanta Braves: Martin Perez
  • Time: 7:15 PM ET

Mize has been as good as advertised, sporting a 2.51 ERA with a 3.21 xERA and a 2.95 FIP.

Los Angeles Angels vs. Chicago White Sox Probable Pitchers

  • Los Angeles Angels: Jose Soriano
  • Chicago White Sox: Davis Martin
  • Time: 7:40 PM ET

Soriano has allowed just one run through six starts. He’s thrown 17.2 innings over his last three starts without allowing a run. Martin has made four straight starts allowing no more than two runs.

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Milwaukee Brewers Probable Pitchers

  • Arizona Diamondbacks: Merrill Kelly
  • Milwaukee Brewers: Chad Patrick
  • Time: 7:40 PM ET

Kelly was rocked in his last start against the White Sox, allowing eight runs on 10 hits, including three home runs. Patrick has seen a sharp dip in strikeouts early this season, sitting at a 4.2 K/9 through 23 innings.

Seattle Mariners vs. Minnesota Twins Probable Pitchers

  • Seattle Mariners: Logan Gilbert
  • Minnesota Twins: Joe Ryan
  • Time: 7:40 PM ET

Gilbert is allowing a lot of hard contact to start the season, currently sitting at a 47% rate. Ryan is coming off a tough start against the Mets, who scored seven runs off him, though only four were earned.

New York Yankees vs. Texas Rangers Probable Pitchers

  • New York Yankees: Cam Schlittler
  • Texas Rangers: Jacob deGrom
  • Time: 8:05 PM ET

Schlittler continues to dominate on the mound, allowing no more than one run in four of his six starts this season. deGrom has been just as dominant, allowing no more than a run in four straight starts.

Chicago Cubs vs. San Diego Padres Probable Pitchers

  • Chicago Cubs: Edward Cabrera
  • San Diego Padres: Walker Buehler
  • Time: 9:40 PM ET

Cabrera hasn’t recorded more than five strikeouts in a start this season despite averaging over one per inning in 2025. Buehler has struggled to find consistency, allowing at least three runs in three of his five starts.

Kansas City Royals vs. Athletics Probable Pitchers

  • Kansas City Royals: Kris Bubic
  • Athletics: Jacob Lopez
  • Time: 9:40 PM ET

Bubic has posted back-to-back poor starts, allowing eight runs over 10.2 innings. Lopez continues to struggle with command, sporting a 7.7 BB/9 through 24.2 innings.

Miami Marlins vs. Los Angeles Dodgers Probable Pitchers

  • Miami Marlins: Janson Junk
  • Los Angeles Dodgers: Shohei Ohtani
  • Time: 10:10 PM ET

Junk is inducing ground balls at a solid 49% rate. The Dodgers are considering using Ohtani as a pitcher-only option in this outing.
