A 15-game, 30-team slate is on tap across Major League Baseball on Tuesday. For those looking to cash in quick, nothing makes more sense than an NRFI bet. With that being said, there’s more to this one than meets the eye. Some pitchers thrive early, while others take more time to get settled in than others. Keeping that in mind, which NRFI bets are worth a closer look this evening?
Ahead of today’s MLB contests, here are three NRFI bets worth placing on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Brewers vs. Tigers NRFI (-140)
Two 2025 postseason clubs are set to meet tonight in Motown. For the visiting Brewers, it’ll be Kyle Harrison on the bump. It’s the third team in less than a year for the lefty, traded to the Red Sox as part of last season’s Rafael Devers blockbuster. Through three starts in 2026, Harrison has notched a 3.07 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 15 strikeouts. He’s got a good shot at continuing that success on Tuesday at pitcher-friendly Comerica Park. The Tigers own baseball’s ninth-lowest OPS against left-handed pitching (.630).
For the home team, it’ll be Keider Montero taking the hill. Through 16.1 innings this season, the right-hander owns a 3.31 ERA, 0.86 WHIP and 15 strikeouts. He’s allowed a first inning run only once in 15 starts since 2025 (93.3%). On the flip side, Milwaukee’s offense owns baseball’s tenth-worst YRFI rate on the road (22.2%). To make matters worse, the Brewers are without big bats Jackson Chourio (hand) and Christian Yelich (groin). A capable arm such as Montero should start strong against this weakened lineup on Tuesday.
Phillies vs. Cubs NRFI (-125)
Jesus Luzardo has been somewhat wild over the past month. Through four outings, the former All-Star has notched a 7.94 ERA and 1.46 WHIP. With that being said, the eighth-year pro remains one of the sport’s best at starting strong. Over the past two seasons, Luzardo has accounted for a sparkling 77.7% NRFI rate. That includes an unblemished 4-for-4 mark in 2026. Tonight’s opponents, the Cubs, have been lackluster on offense. Their 15.38% YRFI rate at home is tied for worst in the National League.
Shota Imanaga is slated to make his fourth start of the season on Tuesday. The Japanese hurler has been terrific so far, delivering a 2.45 ERA, 0.77 WHIP and 31 strikeouts. That includes a six-inning, one-run performance last week in Philadelphia. Granted, a once-impressive Phillies lineup hasn’t looked like itself this season. They’re only averaging 3.45 runs per game, fourth-worst in all of baseball. Imanaga can be hit early, but it’s not as if he’s facing a red-hot offense. Expect the veteran to earn three quick outs to open up this one.
Dodgers vs. Giants NRFI (-150)
To wrap things up tonight, let’s go with a timeless West Coast grudge match. The Dodgers will kick off their first trip to The Bay with an All-Star on the mound. Yoshinobu Yamamoto has already earned a spot among the sport’s elite starting pitchers. The two-time champion has been dominant in 2026, posting a 2.10 ERA, 0.82 WHIP and 21 strikeouts through 25.2 innings of work. He’ll look to keep the good times rolling against a light-hitting San Francisco lineup. The Giants are putting up a National League-worst 2.80 runs per game at home this season. Yamamoto has allowed just one earned run over his last 19.1 frames vs. San Francisco (0.47 ERA).
The top half of the first is where things get a bit more tricky. Landen Roup will get the unenviable task of slowing down this loaded Dodgers lineup. Granted, the defending champs are less intimidating than usual at the plate. Mookie Betts (oblique) and Freddie Freeman (paternity) have both been ruled out this evening. Over the past two seasons, Roupp owns a respectable 76.9% NRFI rate. It’s also worth noting that the 27-year-old has gotten off to a stellar start (2.38 ERA, 0.97 WHIP). With Yamamoto on the other side, I’m willing to take a chance on Roupp tonight.
