There are only three games on the slate tonight, tipping off at 7 PM EST with the 76ers visiting the Celtics. The Spurs will host the Trail Blazers next at 8, and the night will conclude with the Rockets visiting the Lakers at 10:30 PM EST.

This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.
Deni Avdija More Than 23.5 Points
Avdija recorded a blistering 30 points on 12/21 shooting in Game 1, but ultimately could not lead his team to a victory. Avdija played 39 minutes and was -12 in the defeat, but there was little that could be done to counter Victor Wembanyama’s playoff debut, during which the French phenom went for 35 points on 13/21 shooting alongside two blocks.
It’s clear that Avdija will continue getting huge minutes and will put up a ton of shots. The efficiency may be ugly as he’ll look for ways around, not through, the outstretched reach of Wembanyama, but he should get enough volume and minutes that he’ll reach 23.5 points.
Jrue Holiday More Than 15.5 Points
It’s not encouraging to see a 4/15 shooting performance and then decide to expect More out of Holiday, but the truth is that he’s not a 4/15 shooter. He went 1/7 from downtown and had a terrible night shooting, but he still played 36 minutes and he’s clearly Portland’s second best player in terms of his impact on the court. Similar to Avdija, I’m not expecting Holiday’s shooting to be world-class given the type of defense he’ll be up against, but the 36 minutes and 15 FGA was a good sign for his scoring ceiling moving forward.
LeBron James Less Than 24.5 Points
James’ days of solo carrying are over – for the most part. The veteran superstar is still capable of some huge nights offensively, but big minutes will wear on him more than they ever have before. In the Lakers’ Game 1 victory over the Rockets, James logged 38 minutes and put up 19 points on 9/15 shooting. I’m anticipating James falling short of 24.5 points once again, as his role is clear on this team without Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves; he’s their de-facto point guard, as evidenced by his game-high 13 assists. He dismantled Houston through his playmaking, and I’m expecting more of the same tonight. James was also a game-high +11 in that game.

Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
