For the lone team event of the season, we head to TPC Louisiana (par 72, 7,425 yards, POA Trivialis greens) for the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. TPC Louisiana has been the home of the Zurich Classic since 2005. This will be the ninth year in a row that this has been a team event. Prior to 2017, the Zurich Classic was a standard stroke play event. The pairing of Ben Griffin and Andrew Novak (-28) won last year’s Zurich Classic by one stroke. This week, there will be 74 teams competing and a top-33 and ties cut after the first two rounds. The first and third rounds will be best ball format and the second and fourth rounds will be alternate shot. Due note that each player will accrue the same amount of FPTS as their teammate, so there is no advantage in rostering one teammate over the other.
Like Harbour Town Golf Links for the RBC Heritage last week, TPC Louisiana was designed by Pete Dye. This venue features wide fairways, thin rough, small greens, 106 bunkers and water in play on six holes. TPC Louisiana is one of the easiest tracks on the PGA TOUR and this is a less-than-driver course, where being in great form with both your irons and putter is a must. While there is no SG data for the Zurich Classic since it became a team event, there is data available for when this was a standard stroke play event and two of the last four individual winners of the Zurich Classic finished the tournament top-10 in both SG APP and SGP. Four of the past five individual winners at TPC Louisiana also finished the event top-10 in par five scoring, so targeting strong par five players at this par 72 is smart.

Top DraftKings PGA TOUR DFS Bargain Plays for the Zurich Classic of New Orleans
Vince Whaley/Greyson Sigg ($7,300) – While this will be Whaley and Sigg’s first attempt as a duo, both have finished inside the top-25 at a team based Zurich Classic before and both are playing solid golf entering this week. Whaley has made three of his last four cuts with two top-30 finishes during this time. Meanwhile, Sigg hasn’t competed in 2026, but he has made seven straight cuts with five top-25 finishes during this cut streak.
Sigg and Whaley’s games complement each other well, as Sigg is a strong iron player, while Whaley is an elite putter. The latter ranks second on the PGA TOUR in SGP this season and Whaley’s hot putter has the potential to carry this team to a top-25 finish this weekend.
Billy Horschel/Tom Hoge ($7,100) – Horschel knows TPC Louisiana like the back of his hand. The 39-year-old won at this course as an individual in 2013 and then with Scott Piercy as his partner in 2018. Horschel also finished T4th in 2021 and runner-up in 2022 with Sam Burns as his partner. Horschel has made 5-of-7 cuts at TPC Louisiana since it became a team event. The former FedEx Cup champion returns to the Zurich Classic this week as the maker of 8-of-11 cuts with three top-40 finishes this season.
This will be Horschel and Hoge’s first time as a team and while Hoge has been inconsistent season, making 6-of-11 cuts, Horschel’s form and expertise for TPC Louisiana make this duo one of the top values on the board at only $7,100.
Luke List/Henrik Norlander ($6,200) – List and Norlander have been competing at the Zurich Classic together since 2023 and they continue to improve at this event every year. At the last three Zurich Classics, this duo has finished T23rd, 19th and T4th. That near win came last year and List and Norlander only finished three shots back of the winners.
As for current form, Norlander has only missed one cut in his last five between the PGA TOUR and the Korn Ferry Tour, and List has made three of his last five cuts on the Korn Ferry Tour. Their individual results aren’t anything to get excited about, but List and Norlander know how to excel as a unit at TPC Louisiana and this price tag is far too low for this proven squad. For last year’s Zurich Classic, when they finished T4th, List and Norlander were priced at $7,200 on DraftKings.
