Best NHL Player Props for Sunday 4/19/26
Nathan MacKinnon Anytime Goalscorer (-120)
First prop of the day backs the NHL’s leading goalscorer to score in the most lopsided first-round matchup of the playoffs. During the regular season, MacKinnon ranked 11th in the NHL in 5v5 goals per 60 and second in total 5v5 goals. The Kings are certainly not an easy matchup for goaltending, but this is MacKinnon we’re talking about, and it’s playoff time. He found the back of the net in each of his past two meetings against the Kings and will want to continue that trend in front of the home crowd in Game 1.
Josh Doan 1+ Point (+150)
Doan ranked fourth in the NHL in takeaways, and his play style is made for playoff hockey. I’m fully expecting some early yips for this Sabres team, but they’ll be playing in front of the home crowd, and the barn should be buzzing tonight. Boston ranked inside the top-half of the league in giveaways, and a player like Doan will take advantage of that. He should see plenty of quality chances to make plays himself, but his playmaking is also an underrated part of his game. He’ll play alongside Zach Benson and Josh Norris, a line that was cooking to end the regular season.
Pavel Zacha 1+ Point (-105)
Staying in the Sabres vs. Bruins game, Zacha stood out the most, thanks to his end-of-season play and previous success against Buffalo. Zacha notched at least one point in 15 of his final 20 outings of the regular season, which included seven multi-point games. He also recorded one point in three of four games against the Sabres this season. Buffalo obviously struggles in limiting his game, and Boston will enter this series with far more playoff experience, which should result in a relaxed play style that could lead to quality chances.
