The Thunder and Suns begin their first round series in Oklahoma City on Sunday. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Oklahoma City is favored by 15.5 points and this game carries a total of 215.5 points.

Let’s dive into three of my favorite player prop bets for Sunday’s contest.

Best Thunder vs. Suns Player Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

Dillon Brooks O 1.5 Made Three-Pointers (-130)

Brooks is averaging 2.3 made three-pointers on 6.6 attempts per game this season. The veteran has knocked down multiple treys in three of his last four and multiple treys in three of his four matchups with the Thunder this season.

Defensively, Oklahoma City prioritizes protecting the paint over the perimeter. As a result, the Thunder are giving up the third-most made three-pointers on the sixth-highest percentage this season (36.9%). Brooks should see plenty of good looks from deep Sunday and convert multiple three-pointers.

Chet Holmgren 2+ points in first three minutes (-125)

The Thunder love getting Holmgren going early. In the first three minutes of games this season, the big man is handling a 24% usage rate and leading Oklahoma City with 2.2 PPG.

Holmgren is shooting 56% from the field in the first three minutes and he closed the regular season scoring at least two points in the first three minutes of eight of his final 10 starts. Holmgren is averaging 19.5 PPG while shooting 64% from the field vs. the Suns this season and he should get on the board quickly in Sunday’s Game 1.
