Monday’s slate features a lighter schedule, including an early matchup in Boston followed by a full evening slate of games across the league.

Detroit Tigers vs. Boston Red Sox Probable Pitchers

  • Detroit Tigers: Jack Flaherty
  • Boston Red Sox: Sonny Gray
  • Time: 11:10 AM ET

Flaherty has really struggled with his command thus far, posting a 6.3 BB/9 through his first 20 innings. Gray has been excellent with his command, but has been generating no strikeouts. His 4.8 K/9 through 20.1 innings is by far the lowest of his career.

Houston Astros vs. Cleveland Guardians Probable Pitchers

  • Houston Astros: Spencer Arrighetti
  • Cleveland Guardians: Slade Cecconi
  • Time: 6:10 PM ET

Arrighetti will be making only his second start of the season. He held the Rockies to one run on three hits through six innings. Cecconi has alternated good and bad starts thus far, as 10 of the 11 earned runs he’s allowed have come in two starts.

Cincinnati Reds vs. Tampa Bay Rays Probable Pitchers

  • Cincinnati Reds: Rhett Lowder
  • Tampa Bay Rays: TBD
  • Time: 6:40 PM ET

Lowder went 6.2 innings in his last start against the Giants, allowing three runs on five hits with four strikeouts.

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Miami Marlins Probable Pitchers

  • St. Louis Cardinals: Michael McGreevey
  • Miami Marlins: Max Meyer
  • Time: 6:40 PM ET

McGreevey is going to get torched in a start soon, as his 2.49 ERA is masking his xERA of 7.44. He’ll face Meyer, who has at least five strikeouts in three of the four starts he’s made.

Atlanta Braves vs. Washington Nationals Probable Pitchers

  • Atlanta Braves: Bryce Elder
  • Washington Nationals: Jake Irvin
  • Time: 6:45 PM ET

Elder has been fantastic through four starts, posting a 0.77 ERA with an xERA of 2.29 and a 2.74 FIP. Irvin has been getting a strong number of strikeouts but also has a 6.16 ERA with a 5.09 xERA and a 4.86 FIP.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Kansas City Royals Probable Pitchers

  • Baltimore Orioles: Kyle Bradish
  • Kansas City Royals: Seth Lugo
  • Time: 7:40 PM ET

Bradish has been unlucky to start the year, as his inflated 5.49 ERA comes with an xERA of 3.06 and a 3.17 FIP.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Chicago Cubs Probable Pitchers

  • Philadelphia Phillies: Aaron Nola
  • Chicago Cubs: Colin Rea
  • Time: 7:40 PM ET

Nola hasn’t been bad, but he has allowed exactly three earned runs in three of his four starts. He’ll face Rea, who’ll make his second start and fifth overall appearance for the Cubs.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Colorado Rockies Probable Pitchers

  • Los Angeles Dodgers: Justin Wrobleski
  • Colorado Rockies: Jose Quintana
  • Time: 8:40 PM ET

After sporting a 10.2 K/9 through 66.2 innings last year, Wrobleski has just a 3.1 through 17 innings this season. Quintana has only made two starts but already has an xERA of 8.87 and a 7.00 FIP.

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Los Angeles Angels Probable Pitchers

  • Toronto Blue Jays: Dylan Cease
  • Los Angeles Angels: Reid Detmers
  • Time: 9:38 PM ET

Cease has been a monster on the mound and currently has a 13.9 K/9 through 20.2 innings. He needs to get those walks under control. He’ll be opposed by Detmers, who looks poised for a breakout season with the Angels, with a 3.57 ERA and an xERA of 2.53.

Athletics vs. Seattle Mariners Probable Pitchers

  • Athletics: J.T. Ginn
  • Seattle Mariners: Emerson Hancock
  • Time: 9:40 PM ET

Since moving into the rotation, Ginn has tossed 9.1 innings, allowing two runs on three hits with seven strikeouts. He’ll face Hancock, who has allowed just five runs through 23.2 innings.
