Banchero has improved as a playmaker in the second half of the season. The Duke product is averaging 5.8 assists per game since the All-Star break, compared to 4.8 before the layoff. Banchero is leading the Magic with 9.9 potential assists per game since the All-Star break and he has topped 4.5 assists in seven of his last 10 starts.
