The UFC makes its return to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, tonight for a Fight Night headlined by Gilbert Burns vs. Mike Malott. This is the UFC’s third event in Winnipeg and first since December 2017. Their last visit featured Rafael dos Anjos vs. Robbie Lawler at the top of the card. Nine Canadians are featured on this card.
Former title challenger Gilbert Burns has lost four consecutive fights, with his last win coming against Jorge Masvidal in April 2023. Malott, who is from Canada, is on a three-fight winning streak and is 6-1 in the UFC.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Burns is a +225 underdog while Malott is the favorite at -278. This fight has an over/under of 2.5 rounds with the under being -120. Malott is getting 66 percent of the bets, with 34 percent going to Burns. For the handle, things are closer as Malott receives 52 percent and 48 percent on Burns.
Charles Jourdain is looking to make his mark in his home country as well against Kyler Phillips. Both fighters in this matchup are 30 years old, but enter this contest in different spots. Jourdain has won two straight bouts, while Phillips is 0-2 in his previous two fights. In this bout, Jourdain is a -135 favorite with Phillips being a +114 underdog. Jourdain is a popular choice as he is getting 83 percent of the handle and 78 percent of bets. Meanwhile, 22 percent of bets and 17 percent of the handle are on Phillips.
