It has been a good season for Brighton. They have won five of their past six matches and now sit in ninth place in the Premier League. It is a crowded middle of the table in the Premier League, so despite their position, they are just two points behind Chelsea for sixth place. That makes it very realistic that Brighton could qualify for European football if they keep this good run of form going through the end of the season. Mats Wieffer, Danny Welbeck and Yankuba Minteh are just a couple of the standout players for Brighton over this winning run. Fabian Hurzeler has been one of the bright young managers in the Premier League this season and could have Brighton headed in the right direction at long last.

My best bet for this match is on Brighton to get the win. There is nothing remotely intimidating about a trip to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at the moment. Tottenham has not won at home in the Premier League since December 6 against Brentford. The club is in total disarray and there are no signs of improvement in any of their recent performances. Meanwhile, Brighton are in great form, looking dangerous against every opponent that they face. Brighton are plus-money favorites to win the match, purely because of name recognition value and the idea of going to Tottenham and getting all three points. However, Tottenham has lost four straight home matches, giving up an average of three goals per game over that stretch. Brighton should take advantage of this chance to keep rising up the table, while pushing Tottenham closer to relegation.
