Rays vs. Pirates game moved up due to rain Saturday 4/18/26

The start of Saturday afternoon’s matchup between the Tampa Bay Rays and Pittsburgh Pirates has been moved earlier due to rain.

First pitch was initially scheduled for 4:05 p.m. ET at PNC Park but the start time has been pushed up due to inclement weather anticipated in the area later this afternoon. The game will get rolling at 3:30 p.m. ET instead.

DraftKings Sportsbook lists the Pirates as -161 home favorites on the Moneyline today. The Rays are +133 underdogs with the run total set at 7.5.

The reigning Cy Young winner, RHP Paul Skenes (4.00 ERA, 18 SO) starts for the Pirates today. For the Rays, RHP Drew Rasmussen (1.13 ERA, 17 SO) gets the starting nod.

Pittsburgh is 12-8 while Tampa Bay is 11-8 on the young campaign. The Pirates took game one of the series 5-1 yesterday
