The opening fight of tonight’s UFC Fight Night in Winnipeg is between Thiago Moises vs. Gauge Young. Thiago Moises has been in the UFC since 2018 and is 8-7 in his 15 fights in the promotion. Meanwhile, Young is 1-1 in the UFC and coming off a victory against Maheshate.

Check out my best bet for Thiago Moises vs. Gauge Young at UFC Winnipeg.

Fight to Go the Distance (-160)

The American Top Team product, Moises, has shown signs of greatness but has had ups and downs in the UFC. In his last fight, Moises lost to Jared Gordon via KO/TKO in May 2025. His last victory came against Trey Ogden in January 2025. Moises hasn’t suffered back-to-back losses since 2001.

Young, 25, has a 10-3 record with seven finishes in his MMA career. Both fighters in this contest are the same height (5’9″) and have the same standing reach (70″). Young is a -166 favorite with Moises being a +140 underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook. The over/under is 2.5 rounds with the over being -195.

Although Young has seven finishes, three of his last four contests have gone the distance. Also, two of Moises’ last three fights have lasted 15 minutes. Since both fighters have been inconsistent, I’m taking this contest at -160 to go the distance.
