Burns has fought so many talented fighters in the last few years, including Michael Morales, Sean Brady, Jack Della Maddalena, and Belal Muhammad. Although Malott isn’t currently ranked, that could soon change with another victory.

In this fight, Malott has the edge on the feet, averaging more significant strikes per minute (3.93 vs. 3.15) and being more defensively sound. Four of Burns’ last five fights have gone over 2.5 rounds. Also, three of Malott’s previous four bouts have lasted more than two rounds. Burns will be a tougher test for Malott than his previous opponents, which could cause this fight to last longer.
