The NBA Play-In tournament continues tonight with the Hornets visiting the Magic at 7:30 PM EST and the Warriors visiting the Suns at 10 PM EST.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!
This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.
Stephen Curry More Than 27.5 Points
Curry stepped back into the spotlight against the Clippers with a clutch 35 to put away LA on their home court. He reminded us that he’s still capable of some huge, vintage performances. He’ll visit Phoenix tonight, who posted a 112.9 DEFRTG in the regular season, which is good for ninth in the NBA. Despite how good Phoenix’s defense looked in the regular season, they looked wobbly on the 14th in their loss to the Trail Blazers, conceding 41 to Deni Avdija, 21 to Jrue Holiday, and 16 to Jerami Grant. I imagine that the Suns will be quite stingy in letting Steph shoot threes, given that they allowed only 35.2 threes per game, the fifth best mark in the NBA. While the Suns won’t make it easy for Curry tonight, he’s essentially matchup proof.
Paolo Banchero More Than 18.5 Points
We’re getting a nice promo price on Banchero, and boy does he need it. Banchero posted an ugly 18 points on 7/22 shooting against the 76ers while posting a team-worst -17 alongside six turnovers. A forgettable game, to say the least. Banchero will look to bounce back tonight against the Charlotte Hornets, and even though the Magic star isn’t an efficient player by any means, he should be able to volume his way past 18.5 tonight. His lack of shooting will hurt Orlando’s chances of a serious playoff run, but Paolo should be in a good spot to score More than 18.5 tonight.
Brandin Podziemski Less Than 3.5 Assists
Podziemski has had his moments this season filling in for Steph, but assists aren’t a category he’s especially proficient in. He’s never averaged more than 4 APG in any of his three seasons in the league, and in his last five regular season games, he did not once record four or more assists. I’m counting on this trend to continue tonight against Phoenix, seeing as he recorded only two assists in 40 minutes in the Warriors’ Play-In game against the Clippers. Additionally, Phoenix held opponents to just 25.1 APG in the regular season, the seventh best mark in the NBA.

Create a Pick Set by choosing 2+ players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of set competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you cannot pick the same player twice and you must select players from at least two different teams.
Enter an Amount
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
Sweat Your Picks
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Compete for Prizes
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
