Following last night’s Play-In Tournament thriller, we have another series locked in for the 2026 NBA Playoffs. The San Antonio Spurs, the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference, await their first-round matchup against the No. 7 Portland Trail Blazers.

With the matchup set, DraftKings Sportsbook has listed opening odds for Game 1 of this series, which takes place Sunday at 9:10 p.m. ET. The Spurs enter as a 10.5-point favorite with -470 odds to win on the Moneyline. The Trail Blazers are +360 underdogs to win outright with the game total set at 222.5 combined points.

Early betting splits indicate 91% of straight wagers going in San Antonio’s direction with 55% of spread bets favoring the Spurs as well. On the total, early returns show 79% of wagers on the over.

These teams met three times this season as the Spurs took the first and last meeting between the two sides. Those were decided by final scores of 115-102 in April and 112-101 back in November, with the Trail Blazers’ lone win a 115-110 finish in January.

The Spurs are clearly an elite team with the second-best NETRTG in the NBA and top-five marks in both OFFRTG and DEFRTG. The star trio of Victor Wembanyama, De’Aaron Fox and Stephon Castle should prove problematic, even for an improved Trail Blazers defense that ranks fourth in DEFRTG since the All-Star break. Deni Avdija may be able to carry Portland to a win, but doing so over the course of the series looks like a major challenge.

Opening odds for this best-of-seven on DraftKings Sportsbook list the Spurs as a massive -2000 favorite to advance, with the Trail Blazers coming in at a very long +1000.
