We head to Harbour Town Golf Links (par 71, 7,243 yards, POA Trivialis greens) in Hilton Head, South Carolina, for the RBC Heritage. As a Signature Event, this is a limited field of 82 players competing for a $20 million purse and there will be no cut. Harbour Town has been the home of the RBC Heritage since its inception in 1969 and Justin Thomas (-17) is the defending champion.
Below, I have featured two of my favorite outright long shot bets to win the RBC Heritage on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Sahith Theegala (+7800)
Theegala has finished inside the top-five twice in four starts at Harbour Town. In 2024, he finished solo runner-up to Scottie Scheffler. Theegala has shot 68 or better in half of his rounds at the par 71, including a 6-under 65 in 2023. Theegala now returns to Harbour Town in the midst of a strong comeback season on the PGA TOUR. I say comeback, because after his poor 2025 season, Theegala isn’t guaranteed full-time status on the PGA TOUR for next season. The 28-year-old needs to play his way into status for next season, so performing well at a Signature Event like the RBC Heritage is very important for Theegala. A win notably would earn him a two-year exemption on the PGA TOUR and a spot at all the majors.
With so much at stake this season, Theegala hasn’t disappointed, making 9-of-10 cuts and carding four top-10 finishes. He finished T-8 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational last month, which is another Signature Event. Theegala also just finished T-10 at the Houston Open in his last start. This was three weeks ago, so Theegala should be well-prepared for the RBC Heritage and he definitely looks at this tournament as one of his best chances to win this season, given his track record at Harbour Town.
Theegala ranks second in par five performance and 16th in SG ARG this season, both of which are terrific signs for Harbour Town. Over the last five years, three of the players to win at this venue have finished the RBC Heritage top-10 in both par five performance and SG ARG.
Ryo Hisatsune (+8800)
Hisatsune checks many boxes for Harbour Town. Strong approach play, first and foremost, is the most important ingredient for success at Harbour Town and Hisatsune has been elite in this department. The 23-year-old ranks 18th in SG APP this season and he just led the field in the metric during his T-8 finish at the Valero Texas Open his last time out. You also need to be an efficient par five player to win at Harbour Town and Hisatsune passes this test with flying colors, ranking second in par five performance this season.
Hisatsune finished T-18 in his first start at Harbour Town last season as the 90th-ranked player in the world. He now returns as the 56th-ranked player in the world and is a real threat to contend for his first PGA TOUR win.
This season, Hisatsune has only missed one cut in 10 starts and he has finished inside the top-10 four times. Hisatsune finished runner-up at the Farmers Insurance Open in February and he ranks 17th in total strokes gained.
