Kyle Tucker More Than 1.5 Total Bases
One of the biggest moves of the MLB offseason was Kyle Tucker heading to the defending-champion Dodgers. He has not been at his best to start the season, batting .242 with a .666 OPS. However, he drove in a run and scored a run last night against the Mets. Tucker has consistently batted second in this Dodgers lineup, meaning he has a lot of protection around him. Tucker’s bat should get hot soon and start producing. This game against Clay Holmes is a great chance to do so. Tucker has a 1.000 OPS against Holmes in his career. Tucker has always been a bit better against right-handed pitching, with a career tOPS+ of 103 against righties. Holmes has been solid so far this year, but he has not been as good against lefties. He has a 129 tOPS+ against left-handed batters this year. That is indicative of his career numbers, where he has a 115 career tOPS+ against lefties. This is a great chance for Kyle Tucker to get his bat hot and record an extra-base hit.
Shota Imanaga More Than 5.5 Strikeouts Thrown
Shota Imanaga should have a good outing tonight against the Phillies. Philadelphia has struggled against left-handed pitching so far this season. They have a team OPS of .537 against lefties this season, the fourth-worst mark in the MLB. Imananga has also been great to start the season, sporting a 2.81 ERA through three starts. He is striking out 11.3 strikeouts per nine innings so far this season, an extremely high mark compared to his career numbers. That ranks 14th-best in baseball among pitchers to throw at least 15 innings. Imanaga threw nine strikeouts in a shutout against the Pirates his last time out. He should keep his early-season success going, while the Phillies should continue to stuggle against lefties.
Yordan Alvarez More Than 1.5 Total Bases
Yordan Alvarez has had a fantastic start to the 2026 season. He ranks second in the MLB in OPS among eligible hitters. Alvarez has a 1.175 OPS and a .317 batting average. He ranks in the top five in the MLB in both home runs and RBIs this season. Last night, he drove in two runs with a double and scored a run of his own. Alvarez should keep that going against Jose Quintana. Alvarez has a 1.640 OPS against left-handed pitchers this season, the best mark in the MLB among players with at least 10 at-bats against lefties. He is also 3/6 with two doubles in his career against Quintana. Yordan Alvarez should keep the great start to his season going and record more than 1.5 total bases against the Rockies.
