Darius Garland 2+ points in the first three minutes (-109)

Garland has been an awesome fit with the Clippers. Since being traded to Los Angeles at the deadline, Garland is averaging 19.9 PPG while shooting 47% from the field and handling a 29.8% usage rate.

The guard has been especially strong to begin games. In the first three minutes of the 17 games Garland has started with the Clippers, he is leading the team with 2.5 PPG and a 31.3% usage rate. Garland has scored at least two points in the first three minutes of 13 of these 17 starts.

Garland didn’t score in the first three minutes of Sunday’s regular season finale vs. the Warriors, but he took two shots, so the opportunities were there. Facing the club for the second game in a row and with the stakes much higher tonight, Garland should redeem himself with a bucket or two in the first three minutes. Since the All-Star break, Golden State ranks 22nd in defensive rating.
