It’s Tuesday. That means a jam-packed MLB schedule is on the horizon, with all 30 teams in action.
Specific to DraftKings, that means a 10-game featured DFS slate that gets going at 7:05 p.m. ET in the Bronx. Let’s break down some value picks for the night’s action on the diamond.

SP Noah Schultz, Chicago White Sox vs. Tampa Bay Rays, $7,700
Schultz will probably be pretty popular on tonight’s slate, as there’s plenty of intrigue surrounding the 6’10 lefty who can flirt with triple-digits on the radar gun. It’s no surprise you don’t have to dig too far into Schultz’s scouting reports before you find comparisons to Randy Johnson, but let’s not get too crazy right off the bat. The 22-year-old top prospect will be making his MLB debut against the Rays, after tossing 14.0 innings to begin the season in Triple-A. Schultz allowed just two earned runs in that limited sample, striking out 19 and walking only two. Not too shabby.
Tampa is a relatively soft landing spot for the rookie, as the Rays enter play on Tuesday ranking 15th in MLB in runs (70) and 25th in ISO (.121). This isn’t a lineup that packs a lot of punch. That said, Tampa does possess the second-lowest strikeout rate in baseball at just 18.5%, a byproduct of the league’s lowest swinging strike rate (8.7%). So, don’t hold it against Schultz if he’s not racking up 10 strikeouts in his first taste of MLB action.
SS Trevor Story, Boston Red Sox at Minnesota Twins, $3,800
Story can be frustratingly streaking at the dish, but the veteran shortstop appears to be turning the corner after a terrible first few weeks of the season. To wit, Story has five hits in his last two games, which is more than he’d had combined in the nine contests prior. Yikes. Remember, Story hit 25 home runs and swiped 31 bases last season. While he’s far from the ideal real-life asset, he’s always been a valuable fantasy commodity.
Tonight also presents a pretty nice matchup for the Red Sox’s hitters. Mick Abel ($6,300) comes into this start rocking a 6.08 ERA with a 7.17 xERA. He’s walking 14.9% of the opponents he’s faced, and despite a microscopic 24.4% ground ball rate, he’s yet to be burned by the home run ball. I think regression comes knocking on Tuesday at Target Field. Look for Story to possibly find the seats.
1B Paul Goldschmidt, New York Yankees vs. Los Angeles Angels, $3,600
The 38-year-old is now firmly in the “platoon” section of his career, but even in a very limited sample, Goldschmidt is off to a great start in 2026, with a .417 ISO and a 208 wRC+ across his first 16 plate appearances. Crucially, the veteran infielder has also been serving as the Yankees’ leadoff man when facing a left-handed opponent, as the team will do again on Tuesday evening in the form of Reid Detmers ($6,500). For his career, Goldschmidt has almost unparalleled success against southpaws, hitting .323 with a 1.007 OPS within the split. If you want to talk samples, that’s across over 2,100 PAs. He’s been that good.
