Billy (American) Idol to the Hall of Fame!
To open this week’s show, 2026 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominee Billy Idol joined Carrie Underwood for a performance of his iconic Rebel Yell, before it was announced that Idol had been chosen as one of the 2026 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees!
Chris Tungseth: Cold as Ice by Foreigner
After self-admitted struggles last week, Tungseth returned to form with his rendition of Foreigner’s Cold as Ice, immediately showcasing his range and power and maintaining them throughout the performance. He drew high praise from all three judges.
Grade: A-
Rae: MacArthur Park by Donna Summer
After being saved by Lionel Richie last week, Rae returned with an impassioned performance of the classic Donna Summer. She clearly took advantage of her second chance, commanding the stage with her magnificent vocals, featuring multiple high notes. Carrie Underwood even said Rae’s performance outdid hers from years back.
Grade: A
Braden Rumfelt: Superstition by Stevie Wonder
This was a much more ambitious attempt from Braden following his slow song last week. At times, Rumfelt seemed slightly outside his comfort zone, but the high points of his performance were strong and filled with energy.
Grade: B+
Brooks Rosser: These Days by Jackson Browne
Brooks was admittedly uncomfortable throughout last week’s rendition of Linger. He slowed things down this time with a seated performance of These Days and was much more confident, composed and powerful. While this song didn’t necessarily challenge him, his remarkable voice mesmerized the entire room.
Grade: A–
Daniel Stallworth: Livin’ on a Prayer by Bon Jovi
Following a fantastic rendition of It Ain’t Over ’til It’s Over, Daniel was nervous in the lead-up to this week’s performance. He took the Bon Jovi classic in a funkier direction in the most ambitious song of the night thus far. While his vocals were fantastic, the diminished energy of the song may have slightly hurt him.
Grade: B
Keyla Richardson: Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours by Stevie Wonder
Keyla captivated the audience last week with her performance of Zombie, and she took a much more energetic approach this episode. Her stage presence was undeniable, and the run at the end of the song showcased her imposing vocals once again.

Lucas Leon: Benny And The Jets by Elton John
This song was perfect for Lucas’ vibe, and he delivered a very charismatic performance. However, it did feel like he held back at times instead of pushing his range.
Grade: B
Kyndal Inskeep: Piece Of My Heart by Janis Joplin
Kyndal didn’t take Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo’s advice with her song selection, but she still delivered a strong rendition of Piece Of My Heart. Her unique, raspy voice was on display once again, but her energy did tail off a bit throughout the song as she battled through some voice issues.
Grade: B
Philmon Lee: Hot Blooded by Foreigner
Philmon’s commanding voice was on full display from start to finish in this performance. Lee boasts one of the best voices on this season and he wasn’t afraid to push the boundaries, especially with an electric high note to finish.
Grade: A-
Hannah Harper: Landslide by Fleetwood Mac
Coming off a performance that truly put her on the map with Heads Carolina, Tails California, Hannah took on the legendary Landslide this week. She didn’t disappoint. Harper made time stand still, leaving the audience hanging on every lyric.
Grade: A
Jordan McCullough: Somebody To Love by Queen
The most impressive contestant of this season maintained his grip on that title after yet another exceptional performance, capturing Freddie Mercury’s energy seamlessly. Every time Jordan takes the stage, he delivers gem after gem.
