Major League Baseball starts the work week with 10 games on the slate, and nine of them are on the main DFS Fantasy baseball slate, which begins at 6:35 p.m. ET. While there are some aces on the mound, there are also some favorable offensive matchups for several lineups, which can be the core of your DFS fantasy baseball lineup. Let’s dive into the matchups on the board and find some MLB DFS stacks to build your lineups around this Monday.
Before we get to the individual selections for these contests, let’s define exactly what we’re searching for. An ideal target for MLB DFS stacks is a team well-positioned to score plenty of runs based on its matchup and ballpark. “Stacking” is the strategy of adding multiple players from the same MLB lineup to your roster to boost each other’s production.
Ideally, MLB DFS stacks focus on players who are either back-to-back or from the same part of the lineup to allow positive correlation. Since most run-scoring plays produce fantasy points for multiple players, stacking a high-scoring team can carry your entry to the top of the leaderboard. The key to MLB DFS stacks paying off is finding the perfect matchup to attack, so let’s take a look at Monday’s top spots to attack.

1. Arizona Diamondbacks
Corbin Carroll ($5,800)
Ketel Marte ($4,800)

The Diamondbacks continue their road trip to the East after taking two of three games from both the Mets and the Phillies last week. They’re 6-2 in their last eight games as they roll into Baltimore to face Dean Kremer ($6,500). Kremer didn’t earn a spot in the O’s rotation after giving up five runs in nine innings in spring training. Over the last few years, Kremer has been a reliable innings eater but not been especially productive. He’s posted an ERA over 4.00 in each of the last three years, while making 85 starts. Kremer has been a little better matchup for lefties over his career, allowing a .326 wOBA and 51 homers on that side of his splits.
Carroll and Del Castillo will be on the strong side of those splits, and both come in with some nice momentum. Carroll is averaging 10.6 FPTS per game this season with an average of 13.6 FPTS over his last five. He has been limited to DH work due to a hip flexor injury, but continues to rake at the plate. Del Castillo is much cheaper and slides into the tricky catcher spot, but he has 5+ FPTS in four straight games, and he came into Sunday’s game as a pinch-hitter to deliver the game-winning RBI. He is sharing catching time with James McCann while Gabriel Moreno (back) is out, but he is a solid value option to include if he’s back in the lineup Monday.
Jose Fernandez is another young player making a splash for the Snakes, and he can slot at either corner infield spot. He has 5+ FPTS in five straight games and showed his upside with 35 FPTS in his first game of the season with a pair of homers against the Tigers. Overall, he’s averaging a solid 7.7 FPTS. Perdomo and Marte are solid additions tothe stack as well, and Marte had double-digit FPTS in each of last two starts.
2. New York Yankees

The Yankees were swept by the Rays over the weekend, but they’ll come home on Monday night to Yankee Stadium for a favorable matchup against Yusei Kikuchi ($6,000) and the Angels. The Yankees have the highest implied run total on the board, and some of them have a strong history against Kikuchi, who has allowed nine runs in 10 1/3 innings in his last two starts.
Judge has a pair of homers in his past meetings with Kikuchi, going 5-for-26 (.192), while Jose Caballero is 4-for-11 with a double and a homer as well. Judge smashed his fourth homer of the season on Sunday and had a total of 39 FPTS in the three-game series in Tampa.
Stanton is hitting .300 on the year, averaging 6.8 FPTS per game. Rosario has been excellent in the early going, hitting .292 with a pair of homers and 6.9 FPTS per game. Goldschmidt is still platooning at 1B with Ben Rice but will likely start (and possibly lead off) against the lefty Kikuchi.
3. Texas Rangers

The Rangers visit the A’s at Sutter Health Park on Monday night as they take on Luis Severino ($6,300). Severino is 0-1 with a 5.40 ERA and 3.52 FIP in his first three starts, all of which have been on the road. Last year, he had a 6.01 ERA and 4.34 FIP at home, so Sutter Health Park gives the Rangers an advantage. Texas avoided a sweep on Sunday in Los Angeles and will look to take over sole possession of first place in the AL West with a win on Monday night.
Seager has four homers on the year, including one against his former team, the Dodgers. Nimmo had an even bigger series against the Dodgers, producing a total of 52 FPTS in the three games. The veteran lefty also has a great history against Severino, going 5-for-10 with a pair of doubles and a home run.
Carter, Smith and Jung are solid plays under $4,000. Carter homered twice in L.A. and is averaging 6.7 FPTS per game, and Jung has hit safely in seven straight games in which he has multiple at-bats.
