AEW Dynamite on Wednesday, April 15, will serve as the fallout from AEW Dynasty. Taking place in Everett, Washington, at the Angels of the Wind Arena, we have two huge title matches scheduled. After defeating Andrade El Idolo, Darby Allin will challenge MJF, who beat Kenny Omega to retain the AEW World Championship. Also scheduled is a TBS Championship match between Willow Nightingale and the returning Kamille, who made her return during Zero Hour.

Here’s a look at what’s on tap for Wednesday’s Spring BreakThru edition of AEW Dynamite in Everett, Washington!
MJF (c) vs. Darby Allin – AEW World Championship Match
Darby Allin was able to defeat Andrade El Idolo at AEW Dynasty, earning him a shot at the AEW World Championship. I figured Allin would use that opportunity to challenge MJF at Double or Nothing, setting up a huge main event for their May 24 PPV. However, that isn’t the case, as Allin announced he would challenge MJF immediately on Dynamite. I was shocked at how quickly this match would take place, but it also makes for a huge Dynamite main event.
I’m very torn on who I think will come out on top here. Allin has been on a hell of a run and has yet to be defeated in singles competition in 2026. He’s defeated PAC, Gabe Kidd, Rush, and Clark Connors, amongst others, leading up to this match. On the other hand, MJF, who has now been the AEW World Champion for over 100 days, still has a lot of meat on the bone left on his current reign. I’m quite positive we’re heading toward a Will Ospreay vs. MJF title match at All In: London, but AEW Dynasty did make the road a bit tougher with Ospreay losing to Jon Moxley.
As much as I would be all for Allin as AEW World Champion, I don’t think this is the time just yet. We’re close, but MJF has a lot left. I think MJF won’t win this one clean.

Willow Nightingale vs. Kamille – TBS Championship Match
Nightingale was scheduled to have a TBS Championship Open Challenge at AEW Dynasty Zero Hour, but we never got that far. Nightingale was attacked backstage by Kamille, who we haven’t seen on AEW programming since October 30, 2024, in a loss to Kris Statlander on Dynamite. That loss was the first of her AEW career, as she had plowed through the competition before that with a 5-0 record.
Even with the dominance we saw displayed by Kamille in her squash victory on Zero Hour against Big Anne, I don’t see her taking the TBS Championship from Nightingale. I have no doubt the shoulder injury suffered by Nightingale will play a big factor in this, but I don’t see her dropping the title to someone we haven’t seen in over a year and a half. Nightingale has picked up some solid victories against Julia Hart, Persephone and Hikaru Shida recently, and I think Kamille will be next on the list.

Kevin Knight vs. Claudio Castagnoli – TNT Championship Match
I was surprised that Castagnoli wasn’t featured in the Casino Gauntlet Match for the TNT Championship. It doesn’t matter now, as Castagnoli will get a shot on Wednesday’s Dynamite.
I was happy that Knight was the one to win the Casino Gauntlet match, as I feel this is his time to shine. He’s an elite talent and one that deserves the spotlight that is now on him. Knight really showed out in his AEW Championship match against MJF, where he fell short, but proved he’s capable of these big-time matches. He followed that performance up with another banger against Kazuchika Okada, which is worth watching if you missed it. Castagnoli is a perfect opponent for his first title defense, as he’ll likely showcase that Knight can be overpowered but still find a way to earn the win. Don’t sleep on this match.
