In the Main Event of UFC 327, Carlos Ulberg defeated Jiri Prochazka to win the Light Heavyweight Championship. Ulberg has won 10 consecutive fights and is now 15-1 with 10 knockouts in his career.

Prochazka falls to 1-3 in UFC title fights and is 2-2 in his previous four contests. His record stands at 32-6-1 and 37 of them have ended via finish. During the first round of this fight, Ulberg appeared to have injured his leg. That caused Prochazka to lose his rhythm and back off. In the end, Ulberg capitalized in the moment, landing massive punches and picking up the finish.

Ulberg joins Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski as fighters to win a UFC Championship from City Kickboxing. Eugene Bareman has built one of the greatest gyms in the sport, and they have a new champion.
