After two years away from boxing, former WBC Champion Tyson Fury is making his return to the sport against Arslanbek Makhmudov. This fight is headlining today’s boxing card on Netflix. This event is taking place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, United Kingdom. This is the fifth boxing event to air on Netflix.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, Fury is a -600 favorite while Makhmudov is a +400 underdog.

5:59 p.m. ET: Tyson Fury defeats Arslanbek Makhmudov by unanimous decision (120-108, 120-108, 119-109)

After 16 months away, Tyson Fury returned and picked up his first victory since October 2023. Fury beat Makhmudov by unanimous decision. This was a masterclass from Fury throughout the majority of this contest. Fury landed 140 more total punches and 80 more power punches than Makhmudov.

Fury moves to 35-2-1 in his professional boxing career. This is Fury’s first win in the UK since he beat Derek Chisora in December 2022. Finally, after many years, the dream matchup between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury seems likely to take place later this year.

Fury was still landing a ton of uppercuts on Makhmudov. Although Makhmudov lasted 12 rounds, it wasn’t a very competitive fight.

5:49 p.m. ET: Fury vs. Makhmudov – Round 11

This fight continues to be a one-sided contest. Makhmudov has no answers for Fury’s offensive attacks anymore. They continued to show Anthony Joshua, who is sitting ringside for this fight.

10-9, 108-101 Fury

5:45 p.m. ET: Fury vs. Makhmudov – Round 10

Fury kept targeting Makhmudov’s body in the 10th round. During this round, Fury began using his uppercut.

10-9, 98-92 Fury

5:42 p.m. ET: Fury vs. Makhmudov – Round 9

This was another round for Fury as he was picking apart Makhmudov. Makhmudov hasn’t been moving a ton, which has benefited Fury.

10-9, 88-83 Fury

5:37 p.m. ET: Fury vs. Makhmudov – Round 8

Fury is landing at will against Makhmudov and has landed multiple big hooks and jabs. Even after eight rounds, Fury hasn’t slowed down.

Fury is gaining confidence throughout this fight. Makhmudov landed a few punches on Fury, but the Gyspy King didn’t seem fazed.

Makhmudov’s output has decreased throughout the contest. Fury seems fresher than Makhmudov, who appears tired. Late in the sixth round, Fury began to switch stances and was finding a ton of success.

Fury has been moving around the ring a lot while Makhmudov has been more patient. In the fifth round, Fury landed the better punches.

Makhmudov landed a massive left hand at the beginning of the fourth round. Fury is taking a lot of damage in this round. In the last minute of the round, Fury responded with a big combination.

As Fury becomes more aggressive, Makhmudov has become more passive. Fury had a long layoff and seems more comfortable as the fight progresses. This was another round for Fury.

5:13 p.m. ET: Fury vs. Makhmudov – Round 2

Fury came out more aggressively in the second round. Makhmudov continues to close the distance and pressure Fury. Fury landed a few good combinations in this round.

Makhmudov did a good job of moving forward, landing punches on Fury. Fury didn’t do much in the first round.
