Two veterans, Kelvin Gastelum and Vicente Luque, are facing off on the UFC 327 Early Prelims. Luque, who has lost two consecutive bouts, is moving up from Welterweight to take on Gastelum. Gastelum is coming off a win over Dustin Stoltzfus and is 2-1 in his previous three contests.
Check out my best bet for Kelvin Gastelum vs. Vicente Luque at UFC 327 in Miami, Florida.
Over 2.5 Rounds (-154)
Kelvin Gastelum has had an up-and-down run in the UFC, as his record stands at 14-10 in the promotion. He is 4-6 in his previous 10 fights and hasn’t won tw oconsectuive bouts since May 2018. Gastelum has fought mainly top-tier opponents but has come up short against many of them, including Joe Pyfer, Robert Whittaker, Sean Brady, and Israel Adesanya.
Luque is trying to avoid his third straight loss, as he has never had a losing streak longer than two in his career. He last lost to Joel Alvarez in October 2025. Luque’s last win came against Themba Gorimbo in December 2024. Even though Luque is the fighter moving up, he has the height (5’11” vs. 5’9″) and reach (75″ vs. 71″) advantage over Gastelum.
In this contest, Gastelum is a -258 favorite with Luque being the underdog at +210 on DraftKings Sportsbook. This fight is -125 to go the distance and -105 to end via finish. The total is 2.5 rounds with the over being -154. Even though Gastelum has more experience at Middleweight, I foresee this bout being closer than the odds suggest.
