BREAK IT DOWN:

(Stats taken from DraftKings Sportsbook’s Stats Hub)

Aaron Judge 1+ Home Run (+243): The public is backing Judge in his Saturday early evening matchup against the Rays at the Trop. Judge is hitting only .224 (11-for-49) this season, but he does have three homers. His hard-hit rate and barrel rate are down from the last few years’ huge numbers. He did have a hard-hit ball with a 110.1 mph exit velocity on Friday, and he has had better metrics on the road rather than in the cold of New York in the early part of the season. Judge and the Yankees will face Rays righty Nick Martinez on Saturday. Martinez has given up three runs in 12 innings in his first two starts, but he has given up a home run in each of those starts and righties have better splits against him both in this season’s small sample size and throughout his career.

Shohei Ohtani 1+ Home Run (+210): Ohtani didn’t homer in his first 25 plate appearances in his six games at Dodger Stadium to start the season, but he hit three homers on the team’s road trip to Washington and Toronto. He went 1-for-4 in his return to Los Angeles on Friday but is still in search of his first dinger of the year at Chavez Ravine. He has nine barrels for a 25% barrel rate along with a 52.8% hard-hit rate so far this season, which is close to his production over the last few years. It seems to be just a matter of time before he goes yard at home, and the public thinks tonight will be the night. He’ll be facing the Rangers’ 25-year-old righty Jack Leiter, who has given up one homer and just three runs over his 11 innings this season. Leiter has held righties to a .143 average in the early going, but lefties have hit .357 against him, including with that lone home run allowed. Last year, Leiter was very good against lefties, so it’s hard to know if the early results this year are a trend or just a skewed small sample size. Either way, Ohtani definitely has the ability to take any mistake from the young righty out of the yard, so getting him at 2:1 odds feels like good value given his power exploits over the last few seasons.

Rafael Devers 1+ Home Run (+395): I highlighted Devers in my favorite home run props linked below, and I love his matchup against Chris Bassitt. Not only has Devers hit well in Baltimore during his career, but he is 10-for-20 against Bassitt with three homers. Bassitt has been a mess in his first two outings, especially against lefties, so this looks like a great spot to get Devers at almost 4:1 odds on this Saturday night. He deserves the extra attention he is getting based on the setup for this Saturday, even though he only has two homers in 14 games to start his first full season in San Francisco.

3-Pick Same Game Parlay

Taking three of the most-bet player props individually is always an option, but why not roll them into a same game parlay (SGP) and get in on all the action at once? It’s a fun way to tie everything together — feel free to tag along.

Aaron Judge 1+ Home Run (+243)

Shohei Ohtani 1+ Home Run (+210)

Rafael Devers 1+ Home Run (+395)
