A first-time host is making his way to Studio 8H.
Academy Award-nominated actor Colman Domingo will host Saturday Night Live on April 11 alongside musical guest Anitta.
Domingo, 56, takes the stage with a slate of major projects on deck, including season three of HBO’s Euphoria and the upcoming music biopic Michael — in which he plays the King of Pop’s father Joe Jackson.
Domingo has had his hands full in recent years with a range of high-profile roles, voicing the Cowardly Lion in Wicked: For Good (2025) and playing a part in Edgar Wright’s The Running Man (2025).
He won a Primetime Emmy in 2022 for his supporting role in Euphoria, and earned back-to-back Best Actor Oscar nominations in 2023 and 2024 for his standout performances in Rustin and Sing Sing, respectively.
Domingo is also an accomplished stage actor, writer, and producer, earning a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actor in the 2010 Broadway musical The Scottsboro Boys.
He’s no stranger to sketch comedy, either. In fact, Domingo starred alongside SNL icon Kate McKinnon in LOGO TV’s The Big Gay Sketch Show from the late 2000s.
Lauded as the “Queen of Brazilian Pop,” Anitta will also be making her SNL debut — hot on the heels of her recently released single “Pinterest” from her upcoming album “Equilibrium.”
