Well, that’s not what you want to see with the season winding down. Chicago Bulls forward Matas Buzelis injured his right ankle down the stretch of what will likely be a blowout loss to the Orlando Magic. He will not return.
Buzelis left the game with assistance from the training staff. It’s unclear how serious this injury could be, but anything major to a team building block in a meaningless game would be devastating for the Bulls and their fans.
Before leaving the game, Buzelis had 14 points, eight rebounds, and three assists in 27 minutes of action. He also had a steal and three blocked shots.
