Matchweek 32 of the Premier League continues on Saturday as Bournemouth travel to take on Arsenal in a game that sees first place take on 13th.

Arsenal are -230 favorites on the moneyline for this one on DraftKings Sportsbook, with a draw available at +370. Fancy a Bournemouth upset? The Cherries are +650 to pick up three points.

Arsenal vs. Bournemouth Prediction, Pick

This bet can be found under the “Double Chance” tab. This might be the first time all season that I’ve picked against Arsenal. There are just too many things going against the Gunners in this matchup for me to pick them to win.

First, there’s the rest advantage. Bournemouth last played on March 20th, a 2-2 draw with Man United. Since then, Arsenal have played three times in three different competitions and in three different cities. They lost the Carabao Cup final to Man City, lost in the FA Cup quarter-finals to Southampton and then got a last-minute winner in the Champions League quarter-finals against Sporting Lisbon on Tuesday. Yes, the Gunners have a deep squad, but they have also picked up a few injuries in recent weeks that will test that depth to its limits. Little rest, poor performances and injuries are all starting to pile up.

Then, let’s take a look at the Cherries. Although it’s been a while since we’ve seen them play, Bournemouth were in solid form before the international break. They are unbeaten in 12 straight games inside of 90 minutes, and you have to go back to January to find the last time they lost in regulation time. Who was that defeat to, you may ask? It was Arsenal in the reverse fixture, which was a highly competitive game in which the Gunners narrowly won 3-2. Bournemouth have drawn quite a few games since then, but they also have not lost, putting aside a penalty shootout in the FA Cup.

Arsenal have lost two of their last three games against Bournemouth, as the Cherries did the double over them last season. I expect a highly competitive game in this one, but I think Bournemouth will be able to make life difficult for the Gunners and find a way to get a result.
