We’re winding down towards the end of the season with a six game slate tonight, tipping off at 7 PM EST with the Bulls visiting the Wizards and finishing up with the Lakers visiting the Warriors at 10 PM EST. Games will run tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday before the Play-in Tournament gets underway.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!
This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.
Tyrese Maxey Less Than 24.5 Points
Maxey’s fallen short of the 24.5 mark in four out of his last five games. He’s still hoisting a respectable number of shots, but the efficiency has been erratic. With Joel Embiid in the mix, Maxey no longer needs to absorb massive usage. This is good for Philly’s postseason chances, in which they’ll need Maxey to be fully healthy and ready to go, especially after leading the league in minutes with 38.2 per game. He’s played a ton of minutes this season, but unfortunately, Philly cannot afford to scale him back just yet. The Sixers are just half a game ahead of the ninth seed Hornets.
The Rockets have a 114 DEFRTG over their last 10 games but are seventh in the NBA with 112.2 DEFRTG on the season. They’re also looking for a must-needed win tonight, and with Amen Thompson’s length draped all over Maxey, it’s tough to see him getting things going.
LeBron James More Than 9.5 Assists
We got a little glimpse, four days ago, of what James is still capable of when he needs to be the number one guy. After falling short of 20 points in three out of his last four games, he popped off with a monstrous 30 points and 15 assists in a six point loss to the Mavericks. Without Austin Reaves and Luka Doncic in the picture, the Lakers will lean heavily on James for their playmaking needs. It’s not looking so good for the Lakers’ postseason chances save a miracle run, but this team is tied with the Rockets for the fourth seed in the West (both 50-29 records) and for good or for worse, we will see James repeat his role as the number one option on a depleted roster for another playoff run.
Brandon Ingram More Than 20.5 Points
Ingram’s averaging 21.3 PPG and just made the second All-Star game of his career. He’s having a productive season and will be in a good spot tonight against the Heat, who are posting a dreadful 126.6 DEFRTG over the last ten games, which would be by far the worst in the league over the course of the season. The Jazz, for comparison, are averaging 121.3 DEFRTG (30th in NBA).
Ingram hasn’t been particularly hot lately, exceeding the 20 point mark in only two out of his last five, but this spot’s so good that it’s difficult to expect Less than 20.5 out of him tonight.

Create a Pick Set by choosing 2+ players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of set competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you cannot pick the same player twice and you must select players from at least two different teams.
Enter an Amount
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
Sweat Your Picks
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Compete for Prizes
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
