What happened to Jalen Green? Live injury updates for Mavericks vs. Suns on Wednesday 4/8/26

UPDATE: Green is questionable to return.

With 8:10 left in the first quarter of Wednesday’s game against the Dallas Mavericks, Jalen Green was replaced by Collin Gillespie. Green suffered a leg injury and is now in the locker room. There’s been no mention of the exact nature of the injury or when/how it occurred.

Prior to exiting, Green contributed one rebound in four minutes of action.

Green is garnering a 32.1% usage rate on the season. With Green, Grayson Allen and Dillon Brooks off the court this season, Gillespie has seen the biggest usage rate increase of 6.95% while Devin Booker still leads the way at 34.69%.
