What happened to Franz Wagner? Live injury updates for Timberwolves vs. Magic on Wednesday 4/8/26

UPDATE: Wagner has returned to the game.

In the third quarter of Wednesday’s game vs. the Timberwolves, Franz Wagner fell to the floor while holding his left knee after an attempted steal. He limped to the locker room and was replaced by Tristan da Silva.

Before exiting, Wagner played 14 minutes. He scored 11 points and added two assists. It’s a big blow for Wagner who just returned to the lineup in early April from an ankle injury. Hopefully this new injury is not serious and he can return to the lineup sooner rather than later.
