Best NHL Player Props for Wednesday 4/8/26
Rasmus Dahlin 3+ Shots on Goal (+105)
Dahlin has cleared this line in five of his past eight outings, and he has found great success against the Rangers in previous matchups. The 25-year-old has notched 3+ SOG in six of his past seven meetings against New York, and the Rangers have struggled to contain opposing defensemen all season long, allowing the fifth-most shots per game to that position. Dahlin has averaged more shot attempts per game while playing on the road and should see plenty of shot opportunities from the point.
Pierre-Luc Dubois 1+ Points (-105)
PLD has 17 points through 26 games this season, and he has picked up eight of them across just his last four outings. Tonight, he’ll have ample opportunities to increase his point total against a Maple Leafs squad that ranks 29th in goals against per game. Dubois has also found success versus Toronto, notching a point in five of his past seven meetings. Anthony Stolarz will start between the pipes, and he sports a 2.90 GAA and .908 SV% across his past seven starts. Washington is still fighting for a wild-card playoff spot, while Toronto has nothing to play for. I’d expect the Capitals to be hungry after losing 8-1 to the Rangers three days ago, too.
Connor McDavid Anytime Goalscorer (+105)
The superhero cape has appeared quite a bit recently for McDavid, especially without Leon Draisaitl on the ice. He has 14 points across his last 10 outings, scoring seven times in that span. Tonight, he’ll face one of the worst goaltending teams in the league, the Sharks, who rank 30th in goals against per game and 29th in 5v5 goals against per 60. McDavid has also found the back of the net at least once in five of his past six road outings. Each of the previous three meetings between these two teams cleared the total of O/U 6.5 goals, and if goals are going to be common, I will always bet on the best hockey player on the planet being involved.
