Here are my top two home run prop picks on DraftKings Sportsbook for Wednesday’s slate: Yordan Alvarez and Jordan Walker.

Yordan Alvarez 1+ Home Run (+213)
Alvarez already has four home runs this season — and he’d probably have five if not for the weird roof at Daikin Park. We’re only dealing with a 54 plate appearance sample in 2026, but Alvarez’s numbers are astounding. He enters play on Wednesday in possession of a 100th percentile expected wOBA (.574) and a 100th percentile expected slugging rate (.877). As has been the case across the past half-decade, when Alvarez is healthy, he’s simply one of the most dangerous hitters on the planet. So, how about healthy and playing at Coors Field? That sound you just heard was a shiver that went up the spine of every pitcher on the Rockies’ staff. Michael Lorenzen will start today’s contest, and the veteran is currently rocking a 14.73 ERA after surrendering nine earned runs in his home debut as a member of Colorado. The 28 LHBs that Lorenzen has faced through two starts have combined for a .917 slugging percentage. You can see where I’m going with all this. Alvarez was an automatic home run bet with any odds longer than 2/1.
Jordan Walker 1+ Home Run (+474)
The breakout is finally happening. For the past three seasons, Jordan Walker has been all tools and potential. In 2026? He’s been all results. Walker has three long balls in his past four games, including one in each of the first two contests of this series in Washington. This is what 99th percentile bat speed (78.4) and 100th percentile average exit velocity (98.3) can accomplish with slightly better swing decisions and a few extra batted ball events. With playing time no longer in doubt in the midst of a rebuild in St. Louis, I truly think Walker can threaten 35 home runs this season — let’s just hope No. 5 comes this afternoon. Miles Mikolas will toe the rubber for the Nationals, and the over-the-hill RHP has already conceded 17 runs in his 9.1 innings of work. In fact, opponents have hit five homers off Mikolas in his two starts. The veteran surrendered a career-high 29 home runs in 2025. He should easily surpass that total this year, so long as he isn’t designated for assignment.
