There will be seven games on the slate tonight, tipping off at 7 PM EST with the Bucks visiting the Pistons at 7 PM EST and concluding with the Mavericks visiting the Suns at 10 PM EST.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!
This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.
Deni Avdija More Than 24.5 Points
Deni Avdija’s season has been electric, with the 25 year old making his first All-Star appearance with averages of 24 PPG, 7 RPG, and 6.7 APG. He’s scored more than 26 points in three straight games now. Tonight, with Victor Wembanyama listed as Doubtful, I think it’s reasonable to expect Avdija to continue his scoring streak. While the Spurs figure to be an elite defense with Wemby in the mix, they only hold a 116.8 DEFRTG without him, compared to 109.8 DEFRTG with him. That swing takes them from a bottom third defense into a top three one. With Wemby likely out of the picture tonight, Avdija will get an opportunity to continue rolling and attack the paint with freedom.

James Harden Less Than 20.5 Points
Harden will return tonight after a one game absence. He’s fallen short of 20.5 points in five out of his last six games. His scoring prowess has waned as he ages, but scoring isn’t his main role on the Cavs. He can still step up and pop off for 30 or more occasionally, but most of his duties are in the playmaking department. Tonight’s matchup against the Hawks will require Harden to be sharp, as the Hawks have been one of the NFL’s best teams lately. They’ve posted a 109.9 DEFRTG in their last ten games, which would be a top three mark if that held up over the course of the season.
The Cavs will lean heavily on Harden to break down the defense tonight, but he’ll likely have some trouble getting his own offense going.

Dylan Harper Less Than 5.5 Assists
I’m a bit surprised by this lofty target for the young Harper tonight, whose career average sits at just 3.9 APG. And it hasn’t been particularly high lately, either. The last time Harper hit more than 5.5 assists was six games ago, and even though he’s reached some really nice assist totals this season, he’s gone over 10 assists just twice in 66 games. He’ll have his opportunity in the sun eventually, but with De’Aaron Fox and Stephon Castle in the picture, Harper will be an overqualified bench piece who simply won’t get the playing time to consistently reach monster assist numbers. Not that he isn’t capable of it, it’s just that his situation doesn’t call for it, yet.
