Fears Owns the Night
Devin Booker came up short despite a good stretch run, meaning Jeremiah Fears is your King of the Court leader tonight! With 51 P/R/A, he sure came out of nowhere, and will net his backers a $697 bonus bet – one of the biggest of the year! Here’s a look at the final top five:

Only One Left
We had not one, but two victims of the blowout in our late window. Kawhi Leonard and Cooper Flagg were sitting down the stretch as the Mavericks bowed out. The Thunder finished their beat down of the Lakers as well, leaving us with only one game.
The Rockets and Suns are locked in a tight battle. Devin Booker remains the best option with 31 P/R/A midway through the third. Does he have it in him to catch Fears?
One Down, Three To Go
No action for the Kings-Warriors game. Despite being close, nobody put a serious challenge in for the King of the Court crown. Now we move on to the final three games.
The Thunder are abusing the injured Lakers, building a 40-point lead in the fourth quarter. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had a shot, but won’t be playing for the rest of this one. So we can rule this one out. Mavs-Clippers is where the real action is at; Kawhi Leonard has crossed the 40 P/R/A threshold, and with the game still close, has some juice in the tank. Flagg isn’t far behind with 35 total P/R/A. It’s quite the show between these two.
Meanwhile, the Rockets-Suns game is at halftime. Devin Booker is seemingly the only candidate for the top spot, piling up 28 P/R/A at halftime.
So, we have three true challengers: Leonard, Flagg, and Booker. Before the night is out, will any of them catch Fears? Stay tuned.
Coop Show?
We’ve reached halftime in two of our games. In the Mavs-Clippers showdown, Cooper Flagg is leading the way with 23 P/R/A at halftime, putting him on a strong trajectory. Kawhi Leonard is just behind him with 22. In the Thunder-Lakers game, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has 21 P/R/A; with that game trending toward a blowout, he is unlikely to take the lead.
In the Suns-Rockets game, we’ve reached the end of the first. Devin Booker is off to a strong start, piling up 16 P/R/A in the first quarter, with Mark Williams trailing behind at 14. We still don’t have any serious challengers in the Kings-Warriors game. So far, so good for Jeremiah Fears, but he will have a challenge before the night is out.
Zero Motion in the Bay
It doesn’t look like we are going to get a contest winner out of the Kings-Warriors game. De’Anthony Melton is the game leader with 19 P/R/A at halftime, with Steph Curry sitting at 17. With the Kings putting up a feeble effort, those two are not ticketed for big minutes down the stretch.
But we do have life in the Mavs-Clippers game. Cooper Flagg has piled up 15 P/R/A in the first quarter, and Kawhi Leonard has 13. Meanwhile, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has 16 P/R/A in the first quarter against the Lakers. All three could be candidates to go for the top spot.
With our final game about to tip off, we are in the thick of the action. Who is going to win it all?
No Go in Boston
It came down to the wire in the Celtics-Hornets game. Jaylen Brown made a huge charge at the end and managed to tie things up with LaMelo Ball on the P/R/A front. However, they didn’t do enough to overtake Jeremiah Fears, who remains the top player on the board.
Now we get down to the real business. Kings-Warriors is already underway, with Steph Curry the top candidate for the crown in that game. Two other games are about to tip off: SGA and the Thunder take on a decimated Lakers team, while projected P/R/A leader Cooper Flagg and the Mavericks face Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers. Later, we have a Rockets-Suns grudge match to finish the night. So much talent left on the board; can anyone overtake Fears?
No Fears
What a game for Jeremiah Fears. He ended up with a 40-ball, rocketing to the top and setting the mark for LaMelo Ball. Kennedy Chandler had an incredible effort as well, putting up 46 P/R/A.
With five minutes left, LaMelo needs six P/R/A to tie and seven to lead outright. Can he reclaim the top spot?
So Long, Scottie. Bye Bye, Dilly
A couple of our early leaders have been wiped off the board. Scottie Barnes overtook Rob Dillingham, putting up 38 P/R/A and briefly owning the top spot. But he was soon to be passed by Jeremiah Fears, who is having a massive game. Yet all bow before LaMelo Ball; through three quarters against the Celtics, Ball has 36 points, five rebounds, and four assists. It’s one of those nights for Charlotte’s star point guard.
Ball and Fears are locked into a battle for the top spot, with Kennedy Chandler (!!!) and Jordan Poole just behind them. Let’s see who sets the tone.
Dilly Dilly
At the end of things, it was Rob Dillingham who took the top spot amongst all our Bulls, finishing with the most P/R/A (35) of the early window. But it seems his lead will not last for very long.
Scottie Barnes is just behind him with 33 P/R/A, as is Jeremiah Fears. Fears has an edge on Barnes in terms of remaining minutes. Brandon Ingram is in the mix as well with 30 P/R/A. Stay tuned as we get into the thick of the games.
Another Wolf Emerges
Early on, it looked like Donte DiVincenzo and Julius Randle would be the big performers for the Timberwolves. Now, a new candidate has emerged: Ayo Dosunmu. He’s having a huge third quarter against the Pacers, and has now taken the top spot on the leaderboard with 30 P/R/A. And he’s sure doing it in style.
It’s still tight at the top with plenty of second-half action left in the early window. Let’s see who gets to the top first.
Silly Season at the Top
A second Bull has taken the lead in our King of the Court contest. Patrick Williams has risen from the dead, and he has posted 20 P/R/A in the first half against the Wizards. Only one – yes, one – person picked him to win the contest, and would take home the ENTIRE $1 million prize if he keeps this up. Let’s see what happens here.
Isaac??
The Wizards continue to be a boon for everyone’s stats. The Bulls are putting the hurt on them, and some unlikely candidates are thriving as we get into the second quarter. Patrick Williams, Tre Jones, and Collin Sexton have all climbed into the double digits in P/R/A. But leading them all is Isaac Okoro with 15 P/R/A, taking the top spot in the field.
For those curious, an Okoro King of the Court victory would deliver a $142,000 free bet for the winners. Do you believe in miracles?
Wolves Are Howling
Great start for the Minnesota Timberwolves against the Pacers, despite the absence of Anthony Edwards. Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo are getting it going early, both reaching double-digit P/R/A in the first quarter as we kick off the early slate.
It’s early, but Wolves players have big potential against this tanking Pacers team. Let’s see if one of these two can set the mark.
