UPDATE: Castle returned for the second quarter and is good to go.

Bad timing for the San Antonio Spurs. With the playoffs on the horizon, one of their best players has gone down with an injury. Stephon Castle took a bad landing while throwing a lob and left for the locker room with a leg injury.

He’s since returned to the Spurs’ bench just before the end of the first quarter, but it’s not yet clear if Castle will be able to return to this game or not. The good news is that he was up and walking before going to the locker room and came back to the bench, so perhaps he’ll hit the floor for the second quarter after all.

Before leaving, Castle recorded six points, three rebounds, and two assists in six minutes of play.

Stay tuned to the DraftKings Network for updates on Castle’s injury status.
