Yordan Alvarez 1+ Home Run (+292): The public is feeling this Air Yordan play with Alvarez and the Astros heading to Denver to take on the Rockies. Even though it’s still cool and the wind is blowing in at Coors Field this Monday, there’s still extra homer potential with the rarified air of the Mile High City and the good matchup against Ryan Feltner. Feltner didn’t give up an earned run in his first game of the season, but that was on the road. In his career, he has a 5.87 ERA and 4.47 FIP at home, and lefties like Alvarez have a .456 SLG and .357 wOBA against him. Alvarez has four homers in his 10 games this season with a .589 wOBA. He ha a 60% hard-hit rate and already has five barrels for a 20% barrel rate in his 30 at-bats. If he gets another barrel against Feltner on Monday night, he has a good chance to deliver on these popular home run props at Coors Field.
Shohei Ohtani 1+ Home Run (+153): Ohtani didn’t homer in his first 25 plate appearances over his six games at Dodger Stadium. He had a great weekend in Washington, though, with a pair of homers while going 6-for-15. He has a 56% hard-hit rate on the season but had 10 hard-hit balls over the weekend for a 83.3% hard-hit rate. Ohtani and the Dodgers are in Toronto, taking on Max Scherzer and the Blue Jays to start the week. Ohtani is 5-for-10 with two doubles and a homer against Scherzer in the past.
Kyle Schwarber 1+ Home Run (+273): Schwarber has been a regular in the most popular bets all season, since the public loves Schwarbombs. The Phillies lefty is already up to three homers in nine games with a 55.6% hard-hit rate and 27.8% barrel rate. Schwarber and the Phillies took two of three games from the Rockies and now head to San Francisco, where he’ll take on Adrian Houser on Monday in the series opener. Schwarber is 4-for-15 with a homer against Houser in the past, but Houser looked strong with just one earned run and no homers in 5 1/3 innings in his first start of the year. Schwarber didn’t get a hit on Sunday, but he had an extra-base hit in each of his three previous games, including his third homer of the season on Friday.
