DraftKings NBA Pick6 Fantasy Basketball Picks Today: Top Picks for 4/6/26

We’ll have five games on our short slate tonight, tipping off at 7 PM EST with the Knicks visiting the Hawks. There are only about four games left for most teams and we’ll be wrapping up the regular season shortly.

There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!

This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.

James Harden More Than 18.5 Points

Harden’s averaging 20.2 PPG for his Cavs stint and he’ll have a good chance to pump those numbers tonight against the Grizzlies, who have a DEFRTG of 127.8 over their last 10 games. The Cavs are just one game behind the third seeded Knicks and could potentially catch them before the season ends.

Harden’s in a good spot to clear 18.5 just by shot diet alone. He takes lots of threes and still gets to the line often.

VJ Edgecombe Less Than 12.5 Points

Edgecombe’s been a beast this season, but it’s tough for him to get the usage required tonight to pop off in the scoring column. Joel Embiid will return from an illness, which severely limits the shots that everybody else on the team will get, including Edgecombe. Despite the standout rookie winning the Eastern Conference ROTM, averaging 18.9 PPG in March, I’m having trouble seeing him get the opportunity tonight.

The Spurs are also an elite defensive squad, which further hampers the likelihood of Edgecombe surpassing this line tonight.

Stephon Castle More Than 8.5 Assists

Castle is at 7.3 APG this season, so 8.5 is aggressive, but not unreasonable. When San Antonio leans into quick-hit actions with finishers, he can get to big assist nights. He’s averaging 9 APG in his last five games, which bodes well for his odds to hit this target tonight against a Philadelphia team that’s currently conceding 27.7 APG (22nd in NBA).

The Spurs have to be pleased with the way their roster is shaping up and improving alongside their centerpiece Victor Wembanyama. After winning ROTY last season, Castle has improved his game in all facets, including on the defensive end. He still has issues with his three pointer, which has decreased from 4.1 attempts per game to 3.6 this season, but otherwise looks every part a future of this franchise as Wembanyama is.
