The Michigan Wolverines breezed past the Arizona Wildcats in a 91–73 Final Four victory, scoring a date with the UConn Huskies in Monday’s NCAA Tournament championship game.
Following Saturday’s dominant victory, the Wolverines enter as 7.5-point favorites with -285 moneyline odds on DraftKings Sportsbook, while the Huskies sit as +230 underdogs. The game total is set at 144.5 points.
Michigan (36–3) made it look easy Saturday night, jumping out to an early lead over Arizona (36–3) and never looking back. Junior center Aday Mara scored a career-high 26 points with nine rebounds, while star forward Yaxel Lendeborg notched 11 points in only 14 minutes. The dominant victory marked the Wolverines’ fifth straight double-digit win in March Madness — becoming the first team to reach 90 points five times in one tournament, per AP. Monday will be Michigan’s first trip to the national championship game since 2018, when it lost to the Jalen Brunson-led Villanova.
They’ll take on UConn (34–5), which pulled off an epic upset of Duke (35–3) in the Elite 8 before edging out Illinois (28–9) in the Final Four by a score of 71–62 on Saturday. Propelled by more late-game heroics from star freshman Braylon Mullins, the Huskies have stormed to their third national title game in four seasons.
