Pistons center Jalen Duren has been listed as questionable for today’s game due to illness, per the official NBA injury report.
Duren has appeared in 66 of 77 possible games this season in what’s been the best season of his young career. The 22-year-old big man averages 19.5 points and 10.7 rebounds per game, with that scoring mark the highest of his four years in the NBA. As the running mate to Cade Cunningham in the Pistons’ surge to the top seed in the Eastern Conference, Duren earned his first All-Star nod and has been an integral piece of his team’s success.
If Duren doesn’t play, expect plenty of Paul Reed tonight for Detroit. Cade Cunningham (lung) remains sidelined and Tobias Harris (knee) is also out this evening.
The Pistons are listed as a 2.5-point road favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook tonight against the 76ers.
Detroit is 56-21 overall and maintains a four-game lead over the Boston Celtics for the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference.
