Cardinals vs. Tigers game called early due to rain Saturday 4/4/26

April showers are already causing some chaos across Major League Baseball. Saturday’s contest between the Cardinals and Tigers was brought to an abrupt end in the top of the ninth inning due to inclement weather. Detroit won by a score of 11-6, with St. Louis down to its final two outs before the game was called.

When the game was paused, Kenley Jansen was in for Detroit. The pitcher was set to face St. Louis’ Jordan Walker with one man on and one out.

With Detroit’s win, both clubs now have a 4-4 record after just over one week of play.
