Steph Curry is expected to be cleared for a return to the court for the Golden State Warriors and will suit up Sunday for the matchup with the Houston Rockets, per ESPN’s Shams Charania. The 12-time All-Star last played on January 30th and has been battling knee issues that have caused him to miss 27 consecutive games.

When he has been on the floor this season, Curry has still looked the part of his future Hall of Fame self. Across his 39 games played, the four-time NBA champion is averaging 27.2 points, 4.8 assists, and 3.5 rebounds, while shooting 39.1% on three-point attempts.

Curry will return to a Warriors team that has been bitten hard by the injury bug outside the superstar. Jimmy Butler III suffered a torn ACL on January 19th, which will hold him out for the remainder of the season. Al Horford has also battled some notable injuries this year. The Warriors sit in 10th place in the Western Conference with a 36-41 record on the season.

While this is not a Warriors roster that measures up to the organization at the peak of its powers, Curry provides a spark that changes the outlook in a major way. Golden State has clinched a play-in opportunity and will have an opportunity to scrap their way into a playoff series.

Looking at the odds, the Warriors hold +300 odds of making the playoffs and -400 to miss on DraftKings Sportsbook. They hold +18,000 odds of winning the Western Conference and +40,000 odds of winning the NBA championship.
